One of the coolest brides wearing the Cork Made Belle & Heather Darcey Dress, a beautiful crepe gown with soft flutter sleeves, and the most gorgeous green ballet pumps to finish the look XX

When the boss gets married you know it’s a go big or go home situation.

After 13 years, three countries, two continents, new businesses, two degrees, one masters, and a million adventures in-between, this wedding had been long anticipated and neither the  Covid virus or Lockdown number two was not going to stop it or dull the sparkle.

Five Years prior a dress arrived from San Francisco – that can most accurately be described as ‘What would Barbie wear to her wedding in 1984? – It was love at first sight. Large bell skirt, high Victorian neckline and large puffball sleeves, all beautifully embroidered in a large thorny climbing rose pattern.

The dress was unaltered except to remove the high neckline, and follow the lined sweet heart bodice of the dress. And the personalized finishing touch of the bride and groom’s names, wedding date and first dance chorus hidden among the roses of the skirt.

With a bold dress, less is more when it comes to accessories and a handmade bandeau birdcage was all that was needed.

With so much uncertainty facing us in the coming weeks, we have to remember that love prevails!
